Belinda Williams

Watercolourist Belinda Williams has a self confessed "love of the Australian landscape". Her work captures iconic scenes of cotton fields ready for picking in northern NSW, remarkable gorges in the Kimberley Region, and the all Australian swimmers of Bondi Beach.

Born in Moree in northern NSW, Belinda has been a full time artist since taking up the brush seriously in 1997. Belinda' pieces are evocative and allow the observer to transport into the work experiencing the rich tapestry of colour and mood.

The outback is a never ending source of inspiration which continues to feed Belinda's desire to portray this element of the Australian countryside and community.

In 2009, Belinda participated in a very unique Australian project, 'Utes in the Paddock' based at Burrawang Station at Condoblin whereby the largest outdoor Art Gallery has been created with each artist painting a Holden ute.

Belinda continues in 2010 painting professional portraits of horses, dogs and the odd pub thrown in.
