BLACK GULLY PRINTMAKERS - IMPRESSIONS

The Black Gully Printmakers (BGP) are a group of diverse artists and print enthusiasts who come together to develop their own practice in the studio space in the Museum of Printing NERAM.
BGP members are also volunteers, caring for the Museum of Printing collection and opening it's doors to the public twice a week. Through group exhibitions, open days and workshops, BGP bring contemporary printmaking and historical printing knowledge together to engage the local community and share with visitors to Armidale.
Impressions is a group exhibition featuring the Black Gully Printmakers. Impressions asks the artists to ‘consider a place, event, moment or person who has had a significant influence on them, and draw on that memory when producing their work.’
Printmaking is a diverse medium and ‘Impressions’ will showcase a variety of approaches including lino cut, etching, aqua tinting.
