‘Everything the Land Remembered’ is an exhibition inspired by the landscapes around Tamworth, particularly Goonoo Goonoo Station and Moonbi Lookout.
A group of artists, alongside their two instructors, spent time in residence at Goonoo Goonoo Station, immersed in the surrounding landscape. The works on display capture both the immediacy of that time—through sketches and ‘plein air’ responses—and the deeper reflections developed later in their studios from memory, photographs, and notes.
