In its second year, the Interior Art Prize has been established to celebrate artists who are inspired by interior spaces, and to acknowledge the important role this beloved genre plays in Australia’s contemporary art landscape. Open to artist nationwide the prize shines a light on the talent within this field.

The finalists are shown below. The prize winner will be announced on Saturday 20 September, collecting a $4000 prize as well as an opportunity for a solo exhibition at Weswal. Two artists will be awarded commendations and we are sponsoring a People’s Choice Award this year, with the artist receiving $450, and one voter, who visits the gallery to vote, receiving a $50 Weswal Gallery Gift Voucher.
